Photography, at its core, is about connection — capturing the moments, people and environments that tell a larger story.

I’m a photojournalist and multimedia storyteller based in Charlotte, North Carolina, with more than fifteen years of experience creating editorial, institutional and commercial photography and video. My work focuses on documenting authentic moments and translating real experiences into visual narratives that resonate across digital, print and social platforms.

My career began in newsrooms, where I worked as a photojournalist covering community events, public affairs and human-interest stories under daily publication deadlines. That foundation shaped how I approach every assignment today: with curiosity, adaptability and respect for the people and stories in front of the camera. Over time, my storytelling expanded to include video production, allowing me to capture motion, sound and atmosphere alongside still imagery to create more complete narrative experiences.

I later served as Director of Photography for a lifestyle magazine in Central Florida, managing studio operations and collaborating closely with editors and designers to produce cohesive visual storytelling for monthly publications. Since then, my work has expanded across editorial, public-sector and brand storytelling projects, partnering with organizations including NASA, Microsoft, Amtrak, Angie’s List and the City of Charlotte.

My experience has taken me from newsrooms and studios to live events, press conferences and communities across the country. Whether documenting large-scale events or quiet, unscripted moments, my goal remains the same: to create imagery and multimedia stories that feel honest, human and lasting.
